UUUUGHHHHH !!!!That is how I felt as Adrian Gonzalez's grand slam homerun was leaving the vast expanses of Petco Park in the bottom of the eleventh inning of last nights debacle. And do you want to know a dirty little secret? Well it;s all Jerry Manuel's fault !! Jerry's early overuse of this bullpen came back to haunt him last night, pretty much wasting a gutsiest performance by Johan Santana - who had next to nothing in his tank yet pitched seven shutout innings ! I can not blame Jerry for going to K-ROD last night for he is the closer and no closer is perfect. But to then use Raul Valdes - who was rocked in his previous outing against the Brewers was a head scratcher ! Where was Mejia ! Jerry has been reiterating that he wants to use Jenrry in high pressure situations - but honestly I don't remember the last time he was brought in with the game on the line? Where was Fernando Neive - the poster child for this overused pen? Well at least Ollie P didn't rear his ugly head - although the results would have been roughly the same ! Yeah so here is Ollie wasting a spot in the pen that could have been used for Bobby Parnell or even Pat Misch. I just hope that this game isn't the defining moment of the season .Once again I say - "UUUUGGHHHH " !                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               " Jerry paid the taxman last night on the leaky pen !"  And with that said ...
