The Mets finished out the series with the Padres today with a 2-0 win while bringing their streak to 26 consecutive shutout innings.  While there wasn't much offense today for the Mets they did manage to provide Dickey with an early 1-0 lead in the first inning with another 2 out RBI.  This one from Murphy driving in Wright who is actually struggling a little at the plate but still managing to draw a few walks. That one run would prove to be all the Mets needed as Dickey would match his 11 strike out performance with a 10 spot today.  The Mets did provide an insurance run from a couple of wild pitch, passed balls to make the score 2-0.  Dickey cruised until the 8th inning and barely nicked (if at all) Nick Hundley,  the first batter of the inning.  He rebouned to strike out Blake Tekotte but walked Chris Denorfia to put the tying run on base. With a LH pinch hitter brought in the Mets turned to Perpetual Byrdak to do what he does, get the LH out and today was no different as he retired the next two to get out of the inning.  Brydak continues to impress since his incredible impersonation of the Hulkster.Frank Francisco continued to be dialed in and finished off the 9th 1, 2, 3.  Since May 14th Frank has lowered his ERA from 8.59 to 6.75 while converting his 13th save in 15 chances. Also, with the win Dickey moves to 7-1 to tie for the NL lead in wins.Tomorrow, the Mets start a big series with the Phillies in a Memorial Day match-up beginning at 1:00.Gameday Preview
