Biography

I was born and raised in Manhattan and am currently a Senior at Northwestern University. Like you, I love the Mets and (mostly) everything that comes with that. Unlike (most of) you, I will be writing about our boys – their ups, their downs, and everything in between. Whether you find yourself loving every word or disagreeing on the most fundamental levels, know that my ultimate goal is to provide not just an informative, but an entertaining look at the team we have all come to feel so passionately about. Your feedback is both welcomed and encouraged.

Post-Game: Dickey Gets His 6th Win…Finally

The Mets put the free-swinging Marlins to rest in the opener of the double-header today behind a strong effort from R.A. Dickey, taking the contest 2-1. Dickey did what the Mets have been trying to do all year, stringing together consecutive strong outings by starting pitchers. After Capuano’s incredible 2 hit, 13 strikeout effort on …

A Sobering Look At Mike Pelfrey

I believed that Mike Pelfrey could be a number two pitcher for the Mets. I believed that, with a solid team around him, and especially with Santana slotted as the ace, Pelf could be a solid number two. And if we added another front line starter? I believed we’d have one of the best number …

A Mid-Game Post Worth Posting

I don’t know how many of you out there are watching our Mets kick off yet another series against the Padres.  My guess is it’s fewer than tuned into the last Padres series opener just a week ago.  But if you are one of the faithful, you were just rewarded with a nice treat in …

We’re Still The Mets

This has been a very un-Mets-like season.  It should have been the season from hell but it wasn’t.  We should have gotten nothing for Beltran and spent gobs on K-Rod but that didn’t happen either.  We should be in massive debt and bleeding money but looks like even that isn’t happening.  However, we’ve seen what …
