Biography

As an impressionable youth on the coast of Connecticut, my older cousin (who is a Yankee fan) introduced me to the game of baseball. Since the Mets were more exciting to watch than the Yankees back then, he took me consistently to Shea Stadium starting in '86. We are no longer on speaking terms and he is enjoying his 5-1 championship ratio since that time. And yes that is my NH license plate, and yes I get heckled by Sox fans relentlessly at the gas station.

Well, lets see… Parnell and Duda tried their best to lose the game but thank goodness Ike wanted to win. Thank you Ike for not letting this get away. Murphy was pulled from the game yesterday in the ninth.   During a Q and A with season ticket holders Sandy Alderson was quoted as …

The story that just won’t go away.

This morning The Wall Street Journal’s Brian Costa wrote an article “Payroll Picture Is Still Blurry” which highlights the unwillingness of the Mets ownership and Front office to discuss what the future payroll is going to be. What’s that old saying? If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it must be a …

Good Morning RDM!

Little math question for you… What does poor defense + no offense = ? Harvey looked strong striking out 7 while giving up 3 walks and 2 ER. Should of only been one run if Tejada could of made a routine throw to first. Oy ve….

Nothing…

So, the 2012 trade deadline has concluded and the New York Mets stood still. If you have read any posts today at this site, you may have seen that I’ve been a little upset. I have been a realest on the subject of Sandy Alderson. I felt that judgments about his performance should be …

Good Morning RDM!

Holy crap the Mets won in extra innings! Well, maybe they should of won the game in regulation, but of course Parnell had to blow the save. But hey, a win on a Hefner game, is a great win, right? So stop with the long faces and enjoy the day in Mets land. Oh wait… …
