Knicks fans have their skis way out over their collective heads. LeBron and Bosh? Just because they have a ton of cash under the cap doesn't necessarily mean they are going to land two MAX free agents. They might not even get one (the top tier guys at least).
As I said before, star players want to be star players. This is a me first league and players like LeBron, Wade, Bosh, Kobe, etc... are and want to continue to be "THE MAN." Playing with other "MEN" is not very desirable for the true greats in the league at this point in time. This isn't the glory days of the 80's and 90's anymore, as society in general is more me, me, me.
Talking about championships is great, but what these guys really care about is the moolah. That goes for players like T-Mac who for some odd reason still believes he is a top tier player. He may have been a talented player, but he has never come through in the clutch and is fragile as my mother's fine china.
Look for at least two of the most coveted guys to stay put (most likely LeBron and Wade) and a fist fight will ensue for the remaining top guys (Bosh & Amare). Then you have tier two guys like (Joe Johnson, Rudy Gay and Carlos Boozer) who will get grossly overpaid, because all of these teams that fought to get under the cap with max money available will be grabbing at straws in trying to improve their teams and keeping their fans interested.
You will learn that you can't believe 90% of what guys will say in that situation! The Knicks are in the same boat that my Wizards are in and we will have a bunch of money to throw at players as well, but I think Lebron and D-Wade will stay put. I would love to have just one of them, but I don't think it's going to happen!
